La Gordita, Amy Austin and Lottie’s in Dublin, along with Ichigo Ichie Bistro in Cork and Solas Tapas in Dingle, have been awarded Bib Gourmand status by the Michelin guide.

The Bib Gourmand scheme highlights restaurants offering great quality, great value cooking, with this year’s new entries being announced a week before Michelin releases its full guide for 2024. That guide will include Michelin’s full ratings, including any new stars.

Michelin said of Ichigo Ichie Bistro that it is offering well-prepared Japanese dishes. “A new incarnation of the original Ichigo Ichie, this is a more relaxed and accessibly priced restaurant that comes with the bustle of contented diners,” it stated.
