Salaries for head chefs in Ireland rise up to €90,000 amid 'dire’ staff shortages

Research from Excel Recruitment has found that salaries in the hotel and catering industry are increasing due to staff shortages

Head chefs in Ireland can expect to earn salaries of between €75,000 and €90,000 according to new research from Excel recruitment.

The company’s annual salary guide for the hotel and catering sector also found that hotel general managers can expect to earn €90,000 on average with regional managers for industrial, corporate, and retail catering also expected to earn €90,000 on average per year.
