An Irish bar in San Francisco has taken a direct approach towards attracting more Irish tourists. Casement’s Bar is engaging in a series of bar takeovers in Dublin, Kerry and Meath in order to make Irish people considering visiting the US city aware of what it offers.

“We’ve become a home away from home for Irish people. Everything doesn’t have to be covered in shamrocks and leprechauns while serving green beer to be an Irish bar,” Gillian Fitzgerald, owner of Casement’s, told the Business Post.
