Dublin restaurant Hyde enters small firms rescue plan

The restaurant opened in November 2022, serving ‘contemporary Asian cuisine’ throughout its three floors

The Scarp report said that after the restaurant’s takeover in 2023, management identified there was a lack of suitable staff to cope with a fast-paced venue. Picture: Ieva Baltaduonyte/Hyde Dublin

Hyde, the three-storey bar and restaurant in Dublin city centre, has entered the small company administrative rescue process (Scarp).

Secret Seasonings Limited, the venue’s parent company, gave notice on Wednesday of the appointment of a process adviser for the financial rescue plan.

Hyde opened on Lemon Street in Dublin 2 on November 2022, advertising “contemporary Asian cuisine” throughout the venue, in its restaurant and on its bar food menus.

Dessie Morrow, the head of corporate recovery at Azets Ireland, the Irish arm of the London-based accountancy firm, will head up the process.
