Often overlooked by wine lovers, German wines are worth investigating

The wine world has its share of stunning vistas, from the meandering Douro valley to the looming Andes mountains in Chile. The most breathtaking view I have taken in, however, is in a particular spot Germany – Ehrenfels Castle, near Rudesheim in the heart of the Rheingau region, where the Rhine turns almost 90 degrees and the Nahe river meets it.
