Áine’s Handmade Chocolate, which was founded in Co Cavan in 1999 by Ann Rudden, has been supplying Lidl with Deluxe Irish Handmade Premium Easter Eggs since 2017 and the range now includes a variety of different flavours. Each egg is made with Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa, which supports farmers who produce their ingredients using methods that support social, economic and environmental elements of sustainability. Additionally, the Deluxe Handmade Premium Easter Eggs and Deluxe Irish Easter Eggs are sold in 100 per cent recyclable packaging.
