A rostering system, which was partly blamed for recent flight chaos at Dublin Airport was restored months before the crisis emerged, the Business Post has learned.

A day of chaos occurred at Dublin Airport last month when 1,400 people missed their flights due to long security delays caused by medium-term staffing shortages, once-off absenteeism and a rostering error which mistakenly listed 17 untrained security officers for work.
