Mary Lou McDonald has accused the government of “bluster” and “confusion” over the future of public service broadcasting in Ireland amid coalition division around reform of the TV licence.

Speaking during Leaders’ Questions on Wednesday, the Sinn Féin leader told the Dáil that “a merry-go-round of contradictions and mixed messages [are] driving people up the walls” on the issue of licence fee reform.
