Competition regulator blocks Dublin Airport’s bid for nearby carpark

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has blocked the sale of a car park near Dublin Airport to the DAA over concerns the deal would lead to “higher prices and lower service quality for consumers.”

DAA, which operates Dublin and Cork Airports, had proposed to buy a car park located on the Swords Road in Santry from Gerard Gannon.
