Small hospitality businesses in Ireland could see costs rise by up to 19 per cent over the next two years ahead of forthcoming increases to the living wage, a government report into recent legislative changes has concluded.

Simon Coveney, the minister for enterprise, will seek Cabinet approval on Tuesday for the publication of a study into business costs which assessed the cumulative impact of improved working conditions in Ireland.
