DAA handed out over €56m in severance pay since 2019

DAA, the state-owned airport operator, paid out over €56 million in redundancy and pay deals since 2019, contributing to an overall €58.8 million paid out by the Department of Transport.
The figures, released by Eamon Ryan, minister for transport, to Catherine Murphy of the Social Democrats in a parliamentary questions, show 166 staff have left since 2019.
