Crisis in new housing sector needs joined-up thinking, not rhetoric
Ireland’s current and future populations need housing choice, and all solutions should be explored
In a year of focus on climate change, the new homes sector was yet again battered by the ill-winds of uncertainty and divisiveness. Brexit, constrained lending and the procrastination around the Help-to-Buy extension will likely result in a reduced output of supply into 2020 and beyond.
