Doyle Shipping Group has pulled out of a planned multimillion-euro investment to develop offshore wind facilities in Cork Harbour, leaving wider plans for upgrading the port in doubt.

The family owned logistics company was planning to redevelop its Cork dockyard site as a port infrastructure hub that could be used by offshore wind developers. However, the group confirmed to the Business Post that it has “decided for now not to proceed with the planning application ...
