Members of the Dáil’s Public Accounts committee like Independent TD Catherine Connolly want to question the Office of Public Works about the a ‘rent rather than buy’ policy when it comes to new headquarters for state agencies and departments

There was quite a reaction to our front page story about the National Treasury Management Agency’s new headquarters. In short, both it and Nama are going to spend up to €175 million renting a new headquarters that could have been bought for €164 million.
