COMMENT: there is value in highlighting bad government on eve of election

It is still shocking to read through the recent history of Ireland's recent misgovernment

Two things immediately strike me about the report of the banking inquiry, which has just finished up its press conference.

The first is that it does not tell us much that we didn't know already about the big picture of Ireland's banking and fiscal collapse.
