RTÉ paid more than €4 million worth of allowances to staff last year, new documents released to the Oireachtas media committee have shown.
RTÉ senior staff and members of the broadcaster’s board, including Kevin Bakhurst, the director-general, are due to appear in front of the Oireachtas media committee on Wednesday. In advance of the meeting, almost 180 documents have been shared with members of the committee.
