RTÉ board invited to attend Oireachtas committee hearing in three weeks
Committee to seek assurances that working relationship between independent board and the executive team have improved
The Oireachtas Media Committee has agreed to invite all twelve members of the RTÉ independent board to answer questions about the latest Grant Thornton report.
Kevin Bakhurst, the director general, and Eimear Cusack, the director of human resources, will also be invited in to address the committee on September 13.
The committee agreed to issue the invitations during a private session at 10am today.
