Ireland rises in ranks for top 100 companies after the arrival of Chinese e-commerce giant PDD

Ireland rose in the global rankings of countries that are home to the world’s largest 100 companies, boosted by PDD Holdings, the parent of Chinese e-commerce site Temu, moving its global headquarters to Dublin last year.

According to the Global Top 100 companies report for 2023, which is produced by financial services firm PwC, Ireland was 12th in the country rankings as a home to some of the world’s largest companies by market capitalisation.
