RTÉ controversy delaying decision on TV licence reform, Paschal Donohoe says

The government has narrowed down to two its options to fund public service media into the future, however recent controversies at RTÉ have delayed discussions on the reform of the TV licence, Paschal Donohoe has said.

The public expenditure minister was speaking in the wake of the resignation of Siún Ní Raghallaigh, the former RTÉ board chair, and criticism over how media minister Catherine Martin has handled the fallout from the exit packages controversy.
