Kickstarting what turned out to be a relatively quiet Monday (you’d know the Easter holidays have arrived), Kathleen Gallagher had a follow-up to her fascinating yarn on the abundance of company directors with an abundance of directorships.

Earlier this month a freedom of information request to Companies Registration Office revealed there were 151 people who held directorships at over 25 companies - despite legislation restricting such scenarios. When asked if they had every investigated directors for overboarding, or if they would do so following the reports in the Business Post, the Corporate Enforcement Authority (CEA) refused to disclose.
