Corporate Enforcement Authority refuses to disclose investigations into overboarding

The Corporate Enforcement Authority (CEA) has refused to disclose if it has ever investigated directors for overboarding.

Earlier this month a freedom of information request to Companies Registration Office revealed there were 151 people who held directorships at over 25 companies. This was despite legislation introduced in 1999 which restricted the number of directorships an individual could hold to 25.
