Minister warns ChatGPT could be weaponised for cyber attacks

AI tools such as ChatGPT could be weaponised by scammers to increase the efficacy of traditional cyber attacks such as ransomware and phishing, according to Ossian Smyth, minister of state for public procurement, e-government and circular economy.
