‘I will miss him’ - Leo Varadkar’s Brussels swansong draws tributes from leaders

The Taoiseach was not the only leader departing the EU scene in recent days but his colleagues paid warm tribute to him nonetheless

Leo Varadkar was not the only EU leader saying his farewells at a Brussels summit this week. His Portuguese and Bulgarian counterparts — Bulgaria is currently in the middle of a Fianna Fáil/Fine Gael-style rotating prime minister deal — also made their final appearances.
