Fine Gael TD slams €117,000 spent on car for former DAA CEO

Fine Gael TD Fergus O'Dowd has described a car purchased for the CEO of the DAA, the operator of Dublin and Cork airports, in 2019, as “unacceptable in every respect”.

The airport authority spent over €117,000 for the car, according to RTÉ.

The DAA told RTÉ's Morning Ireland that it spent the money on a three-litre Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel SUV for its then chief executive Dalton Philips. The car was part of ...
