Concern is growing that Dublin Airport will hit its legal capacity of 32 million passengers before the end of the year, thereby placing future flights at risk.

The Daa, the airport operator, has said that 2.9 million passengers passed through Dublin airport in September, an increase of 11 per cent from the same month last year. This included approximately 200,000 transferring through the airport.
