A number of passengers to and from Dublin Airport are experiencing flight delays and cancellations as a result of an issue with air traffic control in Britain.

Jack Chambers, a junior minister at the Department of Transport, has warned that the delays may go on for several hours.

NATS UK, which provides air traffic control services in Britain, is currently experiencing a technical issue and they have applied air traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety.
