Celine Craig to step down as broadcasting commissioner at new media regulator

Celene Craig is to step down as the Broadcasting Commissioner at the country’s new media regulator.

In a statement on Friday, Coimisiún na Meán said Craig, who previously served as the head of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, had decided not to seek a full five-year term as Broadcasting and Video-on-Demand Commissioner when her current term expires in March.
