Luxury group NYX Hotels opens first Irish location – spoiler, you can choose from a custom pillow menu and an exclusively designed ‘dream bed’

International luxury hotel group NYX Hotels has opened its first Irish location in Dublin following a €31 million investment. Called NYX Hotel Dublin, the ‘lifestyle concept hotel’ offers 175 luxurious bedrooms, a restaurant and bar and a state-of-the-art gym.
Located on the Grand Canal at Portobello Harbour in Dublin 8, the central hotel’s thoughtfully-designed guest rooms range from ‘superior star king’, ‘deluxe king’, and ‘deluxe space’ options.
The bedroom amenities include complimentary WiFi, air conditioning, The White Company toiletries, a mini-fridge, a Nespresso and tea refreshment dock, and a 50-inch TV with chromecast.
Guests can also choose from a custom pillow menu and enjoy the comforts of the exclusively designed ‘dream bed’. Created by Irish supplier King Koil especially for NYX Hotel Dublin, all bedrooms feature the dream bed which offers intelligent body support and King Koil’s luxury coil springs, as well as a bespoke feather and down duvet.
Also available to guests is a 50m2 state-of-the-art gym with an extensive range of equipment that caters to guests' fitness requirements including, cycling and running machines, cross trainers, free weights and bars.
Meanwhile, The Bar at NYX will offer casual dining and signature cocktails, with a diverse all-day menu along with live DJs on weekends.
Designed by award-winning interior designer Suzanne Garuda of Garuda Design in Belfast, NYX Hotel Dublin has a modern and bold decor style including bespoke artwork from Irish artists such as Shane Sutton, Janine Jordan and Art Loves with more to be revealed in the coming months.
