Covid-19 has forced consumers to shop online, reduced the carbon footprint of employees with home working, and had a positive impact on the environment. Will these trends stick?

We have been here before. Before the last recession, around 2007, there was a lot of talk about the green economy but it all fell silent in the fallout from the crash. It’s back but it’s different, because the impact of climate change is accelerating and there’s a growing sense that time is running out.
