Stewart Butterfield, the founder of one of Silicon Valley’s hottest technology companies, has said he fears that Donald Trump could be the most “anti-business president the US has ever had”.

Butterfield, whose business Slack is a messaging platform for teams valued at $4 billion, said he hoped that he was wrong and that “the thick oven mitts of power, the federal agencies and the bureaucracies limit the degree of damage [Trump] can do”.
