Thermo King invests €50 million in plant expansion

Thermo King in Galway has invested €50 million into its plant to increase its capacity. The business, which opened in 1976 and runs automotive-style assembly lines, manufactures refrigeration and heating units for all types of transport including trailers, trucks, buses, rail cars and shipboard containers. Thermo King is part of global industrial company Ingersoll Rand.
