Co Clare firm finds the right focus and forges ahead
From its coastal base in Co Clare, Wild Irish Seaweed (WIS) has grown to become the biggest producer of edible seaweed in Europe.
The family firm, formed in 2009 by Gerard and Eileen Talty, is now led by their son Evan, who took over as managing director in 2015. He runs WIS with his sister, Orla Talty, as operations manager and brother, Micheál Talty, as head of sales.
