The president of the the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dr Annie Doona, has called on the government to make a decision on the recommendations contained in the Cassells report on third-level funding

Student numbers at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) are to grow by 1,000 with the construction of a new €30 million digital building on its campus in south Dublin.

Funding has been approved for the project, which will be built under a public/private partnership arrangement and should be completed by 2021, according to the institute’s president, Dr Annie Doona.
