RTÉ reveals ‘termination benefits’ paid on exits of Richard Collins and Rory Coveney

The exits of both Richard Collins and Rory Coveney from RTÉ cost the national broadcaster €700,000 last year.

The €700,000 figure is the total amount to the broadcaster for finalising the exits of Coveney and Collins including legal fees, and does not represent the amount actually received by the pair on their departure.

Last year, both Collins, former chief financial officer of RTÉ, and Rory Coveney, former director of strategy, resigned from their roles.
