High Court to review Perrigo’s €1.6 billion tax bill
Perrigo was hit with the €1.6 billion demand related to its takeover of the Irish drug company Elan in 2013
Drug giant Perrigo has lodged a High Court challenge to the Revenue Commissioners' demand that it pay €1.6 billion in tax.
The company said that the court had granted leave for a judicial review of the taxman’s assessment about the bill. Perrigo has already challenged the demand with the Tax Appeals Commission.
