Founder of biotech investment fund Malin to step down soon

John Given, the co-founder and chairman of the €450 million biotech investment fund Malin, has unexpectedly stepped down from his position.

Given, a former senior lawyer with A&L Goodbody and general counsel for drug firm Elan, co-founded Malin in 2015 and led its flotation on the Dublin stock exchange where it raised €330 million from investors. He will step down from the role at the end of this month.
