Facebook still routing British ad sales via Ireland

All of the £210 million in turnover booked by British division came from fees from its Irish arm

Facebook is still routing its large British advertising sales operation through Ireland, newly filed figures reveal.

The company, which is subject to a probe by the US tax authorities over transfer of assets to its Irish subsidiaries, disclosed last week that its British corporation tax bill had shot up by 1,000 per cent to £4.1 million (€4.6 million) from £4,327.
