Dublin start-up Pharmapod has raised €100,000 from Enterprise Ireland, as it pursues expansion in North America with a target to almost triple its business this year.

The company, which is backed by around €1.5 million funding in total, was founded by its chief executive, Leonora O’Brien.

It makes software to prevent doctors and pharmacists from making errors in dosages of medication, to monitor prescriptions and dosage details, and to report mistakes.
