Foresight and preparation led to a perfect response to the weather alert and a dramatic night at one of its Tallaght stores
‘So err . . . anyone do anything nice over the weekend?” was the tongue-in-cheek tweet posted by the Lidl Ireland account last Monday. The light-hearted message, posted after its store on Fortunestown Lane in Tallaght, Dublin, was damaged with a digger on Friday, March 2, hit the right tone. The tweet received nearly 5,000 retweets and over 19,000 likes.
