Years spent playing rugby at Seapoint in south Dublin have proved beneficial to Mark Barrett when it comes to running his company.
Barrett is the chief executive and co-founder of APC, an Irish pharma research group, and its sister company, VLE Therapeutics, a manufacturer.
The companies are jointly working on over 35 medicines to transform patient treatment in areas such as oncology, respiratory disease, Alzheimer’s and HIV.
