Growth plan sees Yelp buy two firms through Irish unit

Yelp, the online urban guide, has acquired two European companies through its Irish subsidiary as it seeks to expand its European business.

The US company established its European headquarters in Dublin earlier this year, creating 100 jobs. Since then the company has furthered its push into the European market with deals for a French review site and a German restaurant review site.
