Salesforce to cut global workforce by 10%

Salesforce, which employs over 2,000 people in Ireland, has confirmed plans to cut staff numbers globally by 10 per cent.

The US software company is also planning to close some offices as part of a major restructuring plan as it becomes the latest tech firm to scale back amid a challenging economic environment.
