Consortium plans to offer electric vehicles, like mini-helicopters, as transport option from Shannon to competitors travelling to the 2027 tournament
Rory McIlroy may see more than just the flight of his ball when he looks up to the Limerick sky during the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in 2027.
McIlroy and other leading golfers attending the tournament are to be offered the opportunity to arrive at the venue by air taxis from Shannon Airport in just 12 minutes rather than take the 40-minute drive around the coast from Clare.
