Over the past three years, the country has lurched through a series of major crises that began with Brexit, followed by Covid-19 and, most recently, the effects of war in Ukraine.

The cumulative impact has been felt on supply chains and, ultimately, in spiralling costs, something that is nowhere more visible than in the construction sector and its associated cost of labour and materials.
