Fanuc to open its first Irish robotics facility in Maynooth

Fanuc, a global robotics and automation company, is to open its first dedicated Irish robotics facility in Maynooth in Co Kildare next month.

An acronym for Fuji Automatic NUmerical Control, the Fanuc facility incorporates a 500 square metre training centre and showroom, which will be opened by Shinichi Tanzawa, the Japanese company’s European president and chief executive officer, on October 11.
