There was an inquisition of sorts in Minister Shane Ross's department after the outcry over the awarding of a €150,000 grant for a hockey pitch to a fee-paying school in his constituency.
Ross publicly welcomed the decision to give Wesley College the money to resurface its hockey pitch, which will be a boost toits already abundant sporting facilities.
