Social Democrats move to end pursuit of cancer patients by debt collectors

There is an “absolute lack of sensitivity and understanding” shown to cancer patients who are being pursued by HSE hired debt collectors for their treatment fees, according to the co-leader of the Social Democrats.

Róisín Shortall was speaking in the Dáil today as her party launched a motion on the cost of cancer care.
