The Irish ambassador to Israel will is to appear before the Israeli government on Monday to outline Ireland’s position on Hamas, the Department of Foreign Affairs has said.
It comes after Eli Cohen, Israel’s minister for foreign affairs, said that he has summoned Sonya McGuinness for "reprimand".
