There are serious “ethical” and “security” concerns within government at the continued use of Ukraine as a destination for commercial surrogacy despite it being a war zone, the Business Post has learned.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) met with surrogacy advocacy groups and solicitors in recent weeks to dissuade their members and clients from using surrogacy services in Ukraine.
