Patrick O’Donovan, the Minister of State for the Office of Public Works, has called on RTÉ to sell off its Dublin 4 headquarters for over €300 million to help tackle its growing financial crisis.

The Fine Gael TD has been one of the station’s most trenchant critics in government and is opposed to the RTÉ’s latest request for a state bailout of up to €55 million.
